Here's my honest opinion. I understand the food isn't supposed to be gourmet at an amusement park, but it's also not supposed to be crap. With the
same amount of money they're already pumping into the franchises and food kiosks, they
could be preparing it better so that a piece of pizza isn't cold and rubbery.
I have no clue what kind of a budget Carowinds is working with, I also have absolutely no experience in the business... But I might as well through a suggestion out there.

This is only logical: Upgrade the food, downgrade the prices.
Carowinds has to earn money through the sales of food, right? Wouldn't they sell more if they lowered the price of a burger from $10 to a more realistic $5? I know I would certainly buy more food if it was cheaper. By upgrading the food, they would increase the GP's satisfaction, resulting in them probably coming back to buy something else. Right? Selling a burger for $5 that only cost $1 to make, and potentially increasing sales because of the lowered prices makes sense to me. What kind of flaws did I completely look over?
