Hi all. Quick question, are Mondays generally a less busy time? I'm taking my daughter to Carowinds next week, and had originally settled on Wednesday, but I'm probably more excited than she is, so I've tentatively moved it up to Monday. Plus per the Weather Channel, its supposed to be a few degrees cooler, but when the highs are in the 90s, who's counting, right? So to summarize, what kind of crowds can I expect to face this Monday? Thanks in advance.

Well Not all schools are out for the summer until the end of next week so Monday may be decent. Typically, Tuesday/Wednesdays are the best times to goto really any theme park.

I just went this last Wednesday and everything was a walk on. Except in the water park, although the waterslides didnt have to bad a line either. Nighthawk was even a walkon when I went which hasn't happened to me since I have been going to Carowinds. Monday shouldn't be too bad. I prefer any weekday lol.

I would wait till Wednesday, but like I said, I wanna go NOW! Its been quite some time since I've been to Carowinds, (before they moved the Cobra in, matter of fact) which is sad, being that I live maybe 90 miles down the road.

The only issue will be my daughter won't be big enough this year for the "big-boy" rides as she's not 54", but I can whet her appetite and hopefully she'll pack on a couple more inches before next year, and we'll make this a yearly thing.

cobra/cyclone I believe are only 48"

Cobra and Cyclone are both 48" and we'll ride those. Sadly Intimidator is 54" so I will only get to stare and drool this trip.
