Carowinds now has Scan and Save for season passholders that has started within the past week or two. Most of the merchandise areas and food areas in the park now give a 10% discount for season pass holders by merely scanning your season pass. I think this is one of the best things they have done recently. In order to save a little money, you no longer have to deal with pre-buying beagle bucks.
