Anyone remember if Rip Roaring Rapids has been operational this year?

I think it was open when I was there two weeks ago...

I just went to the park today and it was running. Everything was a walk on including night hawk and Intimidator but White water Rapids had a 30 min wait.

I really hope at some point Carowinds gives RR some love.

When I was there last Thursday Rapids was running but I didn't see the line.

I think more interactive splash zones couldn't hurt. Currently, there's only one real spot where half of the raft will get wet. Everything else is pretty blah.

Some form of an observation area outside of the line. I feel like the rapids ride is hidden in a corner of the park were people forget about it

I doubt it is forgotten about, on hot days, it normally was a good length line.

Most park's rapids are like that, SFOG, KD...It's just so "hidden" in our park cause it's the only ride with tree coverage in our park!

I am just curious when did Carowinds get rid of the tunnel for Rapids just curious if anyone knows the year?

It collapsed I think in 2002 over the winter from heavy snowfall.
