There's been so much talk of this topic on threads so why not create one exclusively for it. So just out of curiosity I would like to see what people want removed from the park. If you've found your way here I encourage you to post what you want gone, and what you want in it's place. So here's my response:

If I had to choose what would go I would choose Yo-yo and Action theater because nobody cares about that dinosaur documentery and it was better with the moving seats. I hope they'd either put in a small floorless or two awesome flat rides (riptide and a disk' o maybe). Also they could make the floorless and Afterburn's loops interlock. Man, that would be sweet.

So what do you want gone?
And what should come ?

1.) I would like to get rid of Vortex and have an out-of-this world RMC wood coaster. It would be super twisted, super compact, and super awesome. There would be many crossovers and head choppers and it would have a vertical drop.

2.) I want to take out Hurler and since it is a very large piece of land, I would put in a steel coaster. I would like it to be an Intamin family launch coaster like Javulin (not sure how to spell either of the words for they are Danish) at Durs Somerland. This family coaster is over 3,000 feet long which is very long for a family coaster. And it also has a top speed of about 45 mph. Or If we didn't get the family launch coaster, the Hurler plot would be a good place for an Intamin LSM coaster similar to Maverick.

Not sure if you would rather have what we want in place of the attractions or what is realistic. I don't think the first one has a chance so for my realistic guess, they could put in a small B&M floorless in place of Vortex. And in place of Hurler, they could put in a GCI woodie. *This last paragraph is for my guess of might what take place of the rides that I wish to take out. I would much rather have the two coasters in the first two paragraphs.

I second removal of Vortex in favor of a B&M Wing or Floorless coaster. Hurler I would like to see get RMC Topper Track and redesign like NTG or Iron Rattler.

Add a double down first drop following into an overbanked curve.

I want them to keep rides, not get rid of them. Especially NOW. There are too few flats and losing them left and right would be detrimental to the new 'image' of Carowinds moving forward. Imo.

I would like to see Hurler replaced with an RMC or GCI woodie. Seriously, imagine a big GCI running through the trees beyond Hurler. Wow.

I would like maybe a wing coaster in Vortex's place? Or just a new style of train (floorless?) that could make the experience more enjoyable?

But still, I'd rather not lose rides, keeping them and adding more would be in the parks best intrest, although there will have to be removals in the future, I feel now is not the best time to start getting rid of things.
