We are thinking of going to Carowinds on Memorial Day. How crowded is the park that Monday?

the last time I was there on Memorial Day, I regretted it.

Memorial Day offers the unique convergence of a day many people have off from work, free entrance for military, and race fans stopping before they go home.

The great part of Memorial Day crowds is they help finance the nearly empty days that I visit Carowinds.

On a related note...what about next Monday, June 1? I think all the schools are still in, so it may be relatively slow. Thoughts?

I think Monday will be fine. That's why I'm trying to get the model done next week so I can come down on WEdnesday or Thursday. No promises though.

Back to memorial day. I forgot that the water park opens this weekend, so maybe, just maybe, the crowds might be slightly thinned out. I don't know for sure though. I'm curious to know though.

The week of June 1st and the week of June 8 should be good during the week. I know I'll be taking finals along with the other CMS students. However, it is a half day. If crowds do pick up, it will be after 1.

Memorial Day Weekend should be very crowded. But perhaps Friday won't be as bad as Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. I am thinking of finally going on Friday for the first time this year, but I am also off next Wednesday which will probably be less crowded.

I'm going tomorrow. Taking my nephew for his first Fury ride. WOOHOO!! He is out of school since he graduates this year, but I believe the rest of Lancaster county is in school. Maybe it won't be horrible.

I plan to go to the park tomorrow, but I don't expect it to be too bad... it has been fairly good the past few Friday nights, and school is still in tomorrow for most schools
