What was the deal with Borg on Saturday? I haven't been on here since. I got there at 10:00 am, got in line and was 5th in line, then they turned us around and sent us back.

So I deicded to wait it out, and when they finally said ok, let them in, they sent us out again. I just went home after that. It was getting hot, and I only came to ride Borg and walk some. They were running 2 trains, and it seemed to test fine.

What was going on?

Maybe you should read my post on my day saturday. You know sometimes I think they shut the ride down for no reason at all. Remember both the photo shoots? There were no major delays or anything it ran just fine the whole time. Kind of funny if you ask me.

Some of my friends went to carowinds on saturday and they said that they were the first people in line first thing in the morning, but then the ride closed. They said that three hours later it opened back up and they rode it, they said the line was moving at an "average" speed, although that was their first time to ride it. They said that they loved the borg and it was better than TG. They rode in the 2nd row on the two right seats(riders' right).

And they said back in March that I was obsessed!!!!!!! :P

Ahh...let the conspiracy theories begin...

There are times that they do shut down for a few minutes for maintenance issues. But, I don't think they park will shut down a ride just for the heck of it. If the ride is capable of operating, the ride will run. There could have been a computer bug or something to cause them shutting for a few minutes.

I'm sure Borg has a few tempermental moments. From what I understand it had its share of moments in California and it probably won't be any different over here.

I still wonder sometimes. I know for a fact that they can open some rides sometimes and they just dont. I was in line for top gun last year 30 min befor the park was to close and they tryed to act like the ride was broken down to get us to leave the line. One person actualy walked out on the cat walk and looked down at the line to see who all left.

That would only create more problems on top of the problems that they already have to deal with when it comes to angry guests. Why oh why would anyone want to do that?

^Probably for the same reason there was a conspiracy among the Viacom board of directors to remove the riverboat...

^Maybe so, but I failed to clarify in my previous post that I was referring to ride attendants/operators.

We should look into this closely. There must be some reason that they close the rides down. Maybe they spotted some thing that couldhappen and fix before it happens with those computer like scensers. Carowinds and most other parks wouldn't close rides like that. They think about the simile on the peoples face and money. :D

Yeah but once you walk into the park they have your money.
