Paint Update

Rode by the park and all the track and support pieces were painted/primed a white or very light gray color. I did not see the sections that had the green and black paint on them. But the workers were moving track sections around and I coundn't walk around very much.

That's cool. Probably just a primer. When I went, on the 26th of October, I walked through the track, and picked up some paint chips off the ground from Stealth. It was the red and gray from the original colors. I can't wait to see the final colors that are chosen for the track!

Any update from the inside? Just wondering how the footers are coming and if they have taken any peices inside yet?

It did look as though some of the track sections were gone or at least the way they had been rearranged made them seem to take up less room than they did a few weeks ago. Maybe a section or two had been moved inside the park.

Yes, those are the supports. I don't think vertical construction has started yet... I believe they are still pouring footers. I wouldn't expect to see vertical until after Thanksgiving. As for the name and theme, we will have to wait until after the holidays, possibly in January. Also next year, look for a lot of new paint and the park is supposed to be "spruced up" throughout next season, so we will have to wait and see. B)

black supports? to me that's another clue for TIMELINE:the ride,cause tomb raider has a desert kinda theme to it

What in God's name makes you think that is Timeline. Trev there aint no green in Timeline. It has nothing to do with flying. If you realy think about None of the movies that are listed have green in it except Tom Raider. Tomb Raider is not it. For id it was it would have brown in it. Carowinds is not going to name it TIMELINE when they dont even know if it is Marketable yet. It's not Tomb Raider! It's not Star Trek! It's not Airplane! It's not based on a movie. I dont care who you heard it from. I know somebody's gonna say "THEY SAID IT WAS BASED ON A MOVIE" Be more creative. Think of more movies than the crap we have been saying over and over again.
