I remember one year, I think it was '93 or '94, they had the Nights of Fire Pyrotechnics Show every Saturday night in the summer, and also on Labor Day weekend. The park was open later back then too.

Wish they'd do it again. It could be part of this renovation thing Paramount is doing.

This new version & the Skytower effects sounds like what they do with the <a href='http://www.pctechsweb.com/simple2buy/KI0002-s.jpg' target='_blank'>Eiffel Tower at Kings Island</a> on the 4th.

I'd love to come, but up "yer" in the High Country we go to Tweetsie for fireworks. I'm also afraid of crowds on the 4th.

In the past the Carowinds crowds for the 4th fireworks have been pretty big. And it takes forever to get out of the parking lot! I think I'll find a good spot outside the park so I can get a jump on the traffic. Of course, I'm sure 500 other people will have the same idea :unsure:
