I was at Carowinds on Sat and Sun.
On Sat I woke up to go to Carowinds and I started the day with the Borg. Finally I was the first in line. Ten I made my way to Carolina Cyclone, Drop Zone, Hurler, Goldrusher, Richocet, and Enterprise ride.
Then by midday I went to animation station to look for some cluses at the fenced off area. I've found nothing but PBC pipes in the area scattered everywhere. Then I went to Top Gun and Thunder Road. Top Gun was running smooth as ever at day and night. Thunder Road didn't seem so good.
Hurler was so jerky. At night.
Then I headed off sun at the waterpark for the lat time after another ride on the Borg. In the morning when it first opened it broke down and they had to take the train off and left it with one train. After the water park I went to Top Gun and Thunder Road to ride till 8pm. After that I went on Rapids twice. Rapids seems better in the dark it looks so spooky and yet romantic if you have a girl friend next to you. I thought that was pretty cool. Then I roded Richocet and cyclone And my last ride was on Drop Zone. I've had a pretty good time and going again for SCarowinds.

The new fountain in the Frenzoid pond looks nice. It will finally add some motion to all that stagnet water...

I see they've also got the waterfall working under the Frenzoid platform again. I don't think it has run in several years.

I was there on Sunday night and got some great night rides on TG and Vortex (Beleive it or not). There really is a noticeable difference between the red and yellow trains. Got back row left seat on both. B)

Whitewater falls was open when I was there.

Ahem......... As I return from my sabatical leave I couldnt help but hear the chants of the crowd.

Well, well rollernuts....you never cease to amaze me with those interesting park updates. Oh by the way, I heard that some leaves are falling! You might wanna get some new batteries for the cannon because this would be a huge park update (and I hear they are already turning brown) :o !! And that update about the people and the truck just brings more and more light about the 2005 hyper......oops was I suppose to say that  .

And you are absolutely right, the earth is moving (which is kinda more than what we can say about membership at a particular fan based site...........)

And just incase you people havent realized im back!! So beware  !

Ok, that is good. I think WWF is going to kill itself if the ride doesn't start behaving.

Anyone got the Sept 7 Newsletter?

It's possible Carowinds has decided not to operate White Water Falls after the summer is over.

Actually from what I heard its starting to get a little "queenie" like the riverboat and acting a little b*tchy. Its just demanding soo much lately that I heard that some money was put into a "swiss" **context clues** account to fund a hit being put out on it. From what I was told, that was not just a regular hit but something like a "hyper" hit.......
