A friend and his wife were with me and they were talking about on their Dollywood trip a few weeks ago someone said they had come to Carowinds this year and said it was dirtier than it had ever been.

I was like, huh?

If anything the park has been cleaner this year than some past years.

I will concede that Borg's trash cans tend to overflow, but other than that it seems better this year than last year. But I only went one time last year, so it's hard to say about last year.

I've thought that the park has always been reasonably well maintained the few times that I've been there. I've seen more staff on duty at the restrooms keeping them clean and people sweeping up trash. I know the park can have its days so I'm willing to overlook the occasional full trash can, etc.

The park certainly isn't SFA!

I thought the park was cleaner this year than it has been.

If the person was comparing the park to the pristine condition of Dollywood, than I can understand why they think Carowinds is dirty.

I personally think that Carowinds was much cleaner this year than in the past. It has it's moments but overall I saw a much better park.
