I went saturday. I was suppose to meet my friend at the gate near the rocket at 11pm. So I was at the gate bout 11:10 cause I and not seen my friend...and then I heard 4 to 5 claping sounds on the streets. So everybody ran away from the gate and I went home. The media has made it seem as if it wasent gang related but I know it was because gangs were all over the fair and i can remember seeing at leats 5 fights that night. The fair only had 60 police officers at the fair and I did not see one breake a fight up. I left there unhappy on the way a fun night was suddenly stoped over ignorance. So if I do go back I'll make sure its on a Tuesday night instead of a weekend night. Please keep this in mind "a ride is not worth geting your kids shot over" Dont let them go alone and dont let them leave from you. Peace and Enjoy the fair on the weekdays!
