I think he means: Well, say bye until next season.
Oh darn, no more BORG until March. Well, that means even more time sitting on my butt. Darn you, you stinking sleeper.

Ha! Duke, you read my mind. For that matter, you can go a little further south to Valdosta, Georgia and hit WILD ADVENTURES. They are open year round as well. Probably a bit warmer than Pigeon Forge in December and they have some pretty good coasters and flat rides too.

Heck, go to Florida!

To me, we really don't have an off season because there's operating coasters to be ridden and they're within a reasonable driving time. Florida can be a rushed but hectic weekend. Been there done that for the IOA sneak peek a few years ago. But, it was worth it though.

If you're having that big of withdrawl, go to Jeepers at Concord Mills.

The park isnt closed for the season, didnt you get the memo. After this weekend they decided to open another weekend and say its the last weekend so they can have an even bigger turnout than this weekend. Those dirty devils!

So........what was everyones last ride? Mines was the trains, just incase ;) !

To answer your question, all of the rides (except water rides) will be open during the Christmasfest. However, Thunderhead and TN Tornado will close if the temp. drops below 38F. Blazing Fury is open regardless of the weather. (The splash pool at the end of the ride is drained so you don't get wet)

I think 2 or 3 of the Country Fair flat rides are closing early so they can be removed to make way for the 2005 expansion.

Now....back to the off season antics of coasterbruh:

Speaking of the park closing, did anyone go today?

So much for the secret extra days!!!

The park was packed!

I actually rode Frenzoid, and with a FULL BOAT too!!! lol

I had two sweet things happen as a finale for the season.

#1 I got the ops to race Thunder Road. The guy was like getting all into it and making us yell and stuff against the other train.

I was like man if it was only like this all the time. <_<

The 2nd was the finale - Top Gun. I got in line and rode back row at like 5:50, I got off the train and there was an empty seat on the back row even with a long line of people. So I hopped back on and got a 2nd ride!

I enjoyed the gorgeous sun set from the lift of Top Gun. Doesn't get much better than that. B)
