Im not tryin to sound mean or anything but why in the he....heck do you think top gun will be leaving the park? Batman-the ride hasnt left the parks yet. Top gun has proven to be a huge crowd pleaser and new technology hasnt caused goldrusher to be axed yet so why would top gun be at risk........

Well, I guess it could stay more than 7 years or so. It is 5 years old. Now you can start to notice the discolation of the paint in areas does somewhat to be repainted in the next 2 years. So does cyclone. And THUNDER ROAD. I would just love to see the colors on the ride. (The original colors by the way.)

Please you guys don't jinx it, after all, Kings Island dosn't have an invert (except for invertigo) and they did give us the flyers...I see some logic. But is top gun a terrain ride that couldn't be moved easily?

Anyways, it'll be at carowinds for at LEAST another 20 years, I would say more, but then theres White Lightnin'...

I'm confused. Isn't there several other coasters in the park that have been around much much longer?

If anything, it's more likely one f them would go before Top Gun... the Signature Coaster of the Park would go.

And there are still wooden coasters out there too. They were some of the first ever coasters ever. They haven't replaced those with "new technology" have they? Top Gun will stay at the park for a long long time.

It's a worthless poll, that's for sure. But I had to respond. Had to give my ten cents. (My thoughts are worth more than two cents )

What a stupid question. Look at all of these other coasters in the park that are way older and still haven't been removed. They would have to be down right crazy to remove one of the biggest crowd pleasers in the history of the park. And plus, this is a good coaster that if they removed, they would have to replace it with one really amazing coaster.
