I know they loss but you have to admit they had a great comeback in the season and a great comeback in the game. You know Kasey would have made that kick.

I was at the Panther's game today and I will have to say that the final 2 minutes was the most exciting thing I have experienced in any home Panther game that I have been to. The crowd was relentless when the Saints were on offense. It was great! I hate that Kasey's kick got blocked too although a 60 yard field goal attempt would've been tough. Here's to a great comeback season, and to a hopeful better 2005 for the cats!

Yeah, it was a great run even though they came up short. I doubt Kasay could ever make that kick, though. His career high is 56 yards (that one was 60), and that was when he was younger and before a couple recent knee surgeries. Now, time to cheer for the Seahawks to win so that the Saints don't get to go to the playoffs!

I'm proud of the Panthers for not giving up at 1-7 which would have been very easy.

Look at San Francisco. When we played them we were both 1-7 and that was our first win of 5 in a row. San Fran ended 2-14 or 3-13 I'm not sure the final. So it could have gone very bad for us.

I think the Panthers proved that last year was not a fluke and if we had had a few breaks like not have Smith out, we would have made the playoffs.

The last 2 minutes were awesome and after all, it's just football. ;)

And best of all the Saints didn't make it. woo hoo! I'm mean aren't I? lol

I don't like the Saints ever since I went to a game against them and we lost, their fans were nasty.

Since The game was not on tv. I watched the came on the Nfl game stats. And Yes the two minutes was very exciting but they came up a field goal short.

Did you see the 54 yarder he made earlier in the game? When he made that one, I said to myself, "man that would have been good from 60 yards out".

Little did I know then that he would need a 60 yarder to win. I think it was a long shot, but with the one he made earlier, he certainly had the confidence to make it.

I really didn't like the call on the last two plays before the kick. I think that when they went for the spike the first time and did the quick slant to Muhammmed, they should have spiked it. This would have given them time to call maybe a corner route or something deeper into NO territory. But it got them I think like 14 yards, and then, Delhomme instead of spiking the ball, threw it out of bounds! That cost them atleast 3 seconds! I'm glad that they have a lot of faith in Kasay, but I got to think that we should have run a short dump pass and let the pitches start. Have a "Queen City Miracle" lol.

Oh well great story only made possible thanks to awful teams in the NFC! (And John Fox) :D

Although i was very dissapointed about they way the played the final game all in all it was an outstanding season that could have been a whole lot worst. What a year and what a team, Just think what next year will be like as long as the injury bug stays away.

And I don't think enough was made of the fact that Jake had an injurred throwing hand (thumb wasn't it) and he toughed it out for the sake of the team.

There's a lot of prettyboy QB's in this league that would have wimped out, but Jake stuck it out! WTG Jake! B)

Moose
Matt Willig
Mark Fields
Rod Smart
and another starter that i can't remeber right now are all free agents. Hopefully the panthers will keep all of them. I would hate to see this team torn apart now.

I persoanlly don't think Mark Fields will go anywhere. I think he wants to stay here no matter how much another team offers him.

As for Moose, he had said about a week ago that he wants to retire as a panther and he will not go anywhere else but tonight i heard that he want's 10 Million and the team says they can't afford that so now moose is saying he has no idea what the future holds. He would like to stay here so hopefully something can be worked out.

What's everyone's thoughts? Do you think we will loose any of these players?

The only thing we can do is root the team on to the super bowl next season. Whitch I have a feeling they will get close to that

$10MM a year? He's lost his mind if that's the case.

These players have no idea how good they have it and then they want more. Greed is ugly.

You could pay me $100,000 a year to warm the bench and I'd be happy. :D

Mark Fields said he will play for a dollar if he has to, so he's definitely coming back. Muhammad wants a big contract, and he's going to get it, even if it's not with the Panthers. I see no reason to resign Willig, since he was the weak link in an already shaky offensive line.
