General Carowinds discussion

I arrived at Carowinds around noon. It wasn't the best of weather, but I assumed because there was off and on rain, that the crowds wouldn't be so bad. When I got there, I headed straight for borg. The line was only about 30 minutes. Because of my luck, when the train started going up the lift hill that makes you look straight into the sky, it started pouring rain. The ride was awesome, but after this I was cold and soaked.

Next, I headed to the Flyers because I heard so much about them. The ride op had the most personality out of any I have ever had. He gave me tips on "snapping." That ride is awesome. My friends were skeptical because it was mostly kids, but they too had a blast. Hearing what younger kids were saying was priceless. On my first try on the flyers, I did pretty good geting a few good snaps.

After this I had lunch at the new Happy Days Diner. It was good, but they need to get tables inside for colder days like today.

Now it was off to Drop Zone and Hurler which were close. Hurler seemed less bumpy, and even though Drop Zone isn't that tall, it is still somewhat fun.

I hit all the other coasters and got my pass processed after this. I was about to leave, but I had to go back to the flyers. I can spend all day there, but the line was long. This time I did great and got a pretty consistent snapping spree going. I almost like the flyers better than coasters because I live close to carowinds and know all the coasters like the back of my hand. They get sort of old. The flyers atleast are different every time.

All and all it was a great day at Carowinds despit of the somewhat cold and off and on rain. The lines wern't bad, and atleast I got to finally experience the flyers that everyone was talking about. It will be great because I am going back tomorrow with a different friend, and better waether is expected.

Sounds like a normal Saturday at Carowinds. I may be going tomarrow for my second trip, I should be clear I hope. It is hard to get good photos of the flyers with clouds.
