Frenzoid's biggest problem is location, location, location. Ok, that, and the fact that the restraints try to simulate a wine press -with YOU as the grape.
The entrance is really well hidden behind the Dodgems. While people can see the ride itself pretty well when it's running, it seems that if people don't easily see the entrance to a ride they'll often skip it instead of hunting for the entrance.
I like the ride pretty well and try to ride it whenever I see it running. I'm not a big fan of the restraints, though. I'd hope that instead of losing yet another flat at Carowinds, if they want to use that spot for something they'd move Frenzoid elsewhere in the park. Although I'm not sure where it would fit there, it would be a natural for Carolina Boardwalk.
I doubt much of a coaster would fit in Frenzoid's current spot, unless they removed White Water Falls and used a good bit of County Fair as well. A better, more likely option would be something like a Delerium. An even better option would be to move / remove Dodgems and put the Delerium or some other Great New Flatride in County Fair while keeping Frenzoid. Thunder Road and Frenzoid would both gain attendance with the overflow from the new ride, and Frenzoid wouldn't feel quite so lonely over in that corner.
