I just thought I would post this here to save you guys the trouble I experienced at the park during my recent trip....
It seems that Carowinds is getting a bit stricter on the "don't rock the tub forwards" rule. During my ride, as my car swooped down to the ground, I would lean my back forward a bit (as in... six inches) off of the back of the tub (my butt still firmly on the seat) so that when the car snapped it wouldn't hit me in the back. I'm sure you guys know how terrible that feels to be smacked in the back when you get a good snap. After one or two times, the ride-op began SHOUTING over the loudspeaker "DO NOT ROCK THE TUBS!" Me, not knowing what was wrong, just completely stopped snapping and sat still for the rest of the ride. When it stopped, the woman comes huffing and puffing over to me (didn't look like she got off the stool much) screaming about how I'm going to break the ride. When I tried to kindly explain that I wasn't rocking the tub, she informed me that I was leaning forward and rocking the tub (even though my weight wasn't shifting AT ALL). Anyways, I just reported her for being extremely rude and not getting off of her arse after any of the ride cycles.
I just wanted to warn you guys to keep your backs against the back of the tub or else they might start yelling in the name of this rule. It was quite embarassing being called out in front of the whole line for it, even if I wasn't actually doing anything wrong.
Enjoy the snappage! .... just keep your backs against the bar!
