Well, the day couldnt have been better
my cousin was visiting from Switzerland, eager to ride everything, and Cephas' cousin was visiting from Maine, and didnt want to ride anything. The day started cool with some Thrill Zone after our first ride on Vortex and then Ricochet. My cousin didnt like Hurler much but enjoyed the rest of the area. Top Gun is where we influenced Cephas' cousin with a ten dollar bill, with that we bought her not being scared the rest of the trip (including wanting to go multiple times on Drop Zone, but thats later...) Funny what money does to people
TG was running great.... AND I GOT TO RIDE 200
a major accomplishment for me at carowinds... im at 202 right now....
Anyways, to the real topic at hand - Drop Zone... When I rode Drop Zone 10 times today, including 6 in a row, I realized that it only gets better, rather then worse as it goes on... I have now made up my mind to challenge Carowinds Freak's 75 record Drop Zone rides... because it will be so much fun..
So be warned
- a nice cool empty day like today has convinced me to break a record that seemed unconceivable thus far... That record won't remain past the month of August if I can help it!!
On a bad note, Pipeline Peak was closed today (the only day in the season I'm in that waterpark all season).... it didnt open until about 3, which really stank... my cousin wanted to ride it.. but otherwise carowinds was awesome....
