Today, I went to the park. First, I hit up the vortex. It was ok. Next, the cyclone. Then the Hurler. But, while on the hurler, my seat belt was not working, and the ride op told me it was ok not to ride with the seat belt working. That ride was horrible. Then, the Saturator. It rained for about 20 min's So when it lightened up, I got in line for nighthawk. It was my 1st ride on that, and it was awesome. But, while on the hurler, my seat belt was not working, and the ride op told me it was ok not to ride with the seat belt working. Also I have a ? about the borg. On my 1st ride, i was able to bring a small backpack with me to the ride and put it at the exit. I went for a 2nd ride, and the person at the beginning of the que said I couldn't bring it with me. Am i allowed to bringing it with me?

If you mean that the Hurler seat belt was not working because it did not lock in place, then you are mistaken. The seat belts on our coasters are secondary restraints that work like car seat belts--they stay loose until you have a sudden stop or jolt and then they lock into place. So the ride attendant was correct in telling you that the seat belt was okay. If the seat belt was stuck and you couldn't pull it out to fasten it, then that's another story and the managers need to know so that person can be dealt with. On all the coasters you will find that the seat belts that retract (Goldrusher, Hurler, Thunder Road, Fairly Odd Coaster, etc) will not lock into place. The lap bar is your primary restraint and that is what must not move. Keep in mind that a few years ago, these coasters didn't have the seat belt and thousands of people rode without issue.

As for Nighthawk, the rule is that no bags go into the queue line. However, you are not the first one to report that the associates are being inconsisant with that. This should be fixed today.
