Hi everyone, took my financeé, and all of our kids to Carowinds, went through the season ticket process and hit the park, we had a great time, she had not ridden a coaster in years, but said that she was going to ride one at least with us. ifrst off thunder road, she had a blast, her 13 yr old insisted on riding with her, which was fine i needed to ride with one of my boys who has special needs, was able to talk just for a second to one of the ride warriors, sorry didnt get his name was fighting with my son so i prob sounded like a babbling idoit to him lol. She LOVED thunder road (i know its been there a while and old school to you people), next we divided, she took my son to see the ducks, while i took the others to the shooting star, nice ride.

We also did the go-karts, hurler and the carolina cyclone (my special needs son rode with me on this one and when it came time to get off the ride, he grabbed the harness and pulled it back down on him saying, "NO", guess he kinda loved the ride). her son decided he did not want to ride the cyclone, as we went up the lift hill, i heard her say, "what have i gotten myself into!!!" then when finished, she said, "OMG i loved this Channing doesn't know what he missed!"

my biggest compliant was the music for the park, a mix of woodstock era and i heard christopher cross being played??

we will be back and bringing more ppl with us!
