We went to the early Easter Sunday service at church and found ourselves with a few hours in the afternoon since we thought it was too warm to do an egg hunt in the early afternoon. What better time is there to head to Carowinds for a few hours?

It was great having the Easter Bunny there. I think my son will always believe in the Easter Bunny (and Santa Clause, etc). It was even greater that the staff let my son go up and sit on his lap. I don't think we could have held him back when he saw the Easter Bunny. :)

Since I'm talking about my son, this is his absolute favorite ride and we make sure to do it every single time we go to Carowinds.

Overall the park was busier than I expected but most of those people seemed to have brought their kids. Because of that, it was quick and easy to get on most rides that we tried. All in all, it was a great trip there but I wish I had gotten some Easter funnel cake.
