I finally made it to the park yesterday after 2 months of not going. I usually do not go on Saturdays and I am usually there at 10am, but yesterday I made an exception. I arrived at the park around 3pm, park was pretty crowded, but I went in and straight to intimidator, which basically had no line. I waited maybe 5-10min to ride. I was going to ride some more but a big bunch of people cam in the single rider line so I just headed on to the waterpark. The waterpark was of course extremely crowded but I managed to find a chair. Got in the pool, which was rather warm, and then layed out in the sun for a while. When my friend Dustin arrived we headed on back to the pool for a bit and then on to the waterslide (forgot what its called) its the green on where the tall body slid is, anyway we hit that and then headed over to the kookura bay where the kid area is because its less crowded. We stayed there for a while and then left the park to go to Jack In the Box. After that we came back and went over towards hurler etc. The crazy thing is we got in line for Richochet and they had to shut the ride completely down to get someone's perscription glasses...we actually waited  Rode that and then headed over to hurler, boy did the trims hit HARD on that thing. The coaste is just not as good when it slows you down as much as it does, or it feels like its a lot and the thing seems like its not going to make it around the entire course. After that we just wondered around waiting for the snoopy thing to start we went in wings and had some water and sat there for a while and then headed out to where the snoopy thing starts. It didnt start until after 9pm, I didnt realize it doesnt get dark until that late ha. Anyways, we walked through that which wasnt to bad I thought there were like lasers and things but its just the lights on the trees that dance to music. Still wasnt a horrible show, would it be worth going to the park just for that, no, would kids love it, yes. After that we hit afterburn. Man was afterburn smooth and glorious in the back seat, loved it! Next was Thunder Road, first time for me since the re-tracking of the drop, and it was great. Cant wait until its completely done. By this time it was after 9:30 so we headed to Intimidator for one last ride of the night. I love intimidator at night great ride. It was a great day at carowinds, hot, but it was fantastic. Cant wait to go back in a few weeks.

I stopped in today briefly. Hear are the highlights. (4hrs total)
1. Rode Intimidator 2x today.
2. Hurler 2X
3.Thunder Road 3x I love the retracked parts of the ride. It's now more enjoyable.
4. Southern Star 1X
5. YOYO 1X
6. Goldrusher 1X
7. Wings Resteraunt which I loved the atmosphere and decoration.
8. Nighthawk 1X right before the storm. The crew that was working up there today was pretty fast. Unbelievable. Great Job. I actually seen a train hitting the breaks while the other train was being laid down to prepare for dispatch. Wow
9.I grabbed a funnel cake on the way out the park.
10. The games people looked very friendly. However only a few people were playing games. Hopefully, Carowinds will understand that they should lower the prices on some of the games. I believe more people would play them. $5.00 for a game????

The overall trip today with my friends was very nice. The parked looked great with the landscaping, and those new baby blue umbrellas outside the Country Kitchen and Old time photo area is very nice. The food in Wings was pretty good. Next time, I want to hit up the waterpark. Looks refreshing from the top of the Tower.
