Went to Scarowinds again last night (10/24) and it was actually a really good night to go. Of course the crowds were low (no lines at all) and the fog was very thick so it was hard to see throughout the park, which adds to the thrill of Scarowinds of course. We just did all the mazes and of course I got a ride in on Intimidator and we left around 10 or so. Great night at scarowinds, again. Only ONE more week until the park closes I hope to at least go to the park during the day next weekend, if not Scarowinds one last time for the season.

Do you think it's a bad idea to go on the night before Halloween? My friend who's organizing the trip says that because it's Sunday, the lines won't be as bad, but I'm not sure.

That would be the best night to go. Last year Sunday was Halloween night and I went and there was NO ONE there. Sunday would be the best night to go, if you dont want to wait 20min in line for each maze and deal with the crowds on the rides.
