So I haven't been to Carowinds in maybe 4 years...since having small kids. Just wanted to post some random experiences here...
The kids area was fairly nice but some of the rides could use some new paint, etc. Doesn't look like maintenance has gotten any better since last time I came.
The old guy running the Carousel was completely unintelligible.
We ate at Harmony Hall. The food was great but overpriced (to be expected). But they were completely out of ice and sweet tea. An employee told me that happens regularly.
The fast lane signage seemed a bit confusing to me.. they had it right there on the only entrance to the skytower. And I ended up taking the left side to intimidator... it would be nice if they would make the non-fast lane more obvious. I guess if you go more than once its no big deal.
Also in no less than 3 lines were people smoking. People just don't give a crap about anyone but theirselves it seems.
Also as we were walking down the main walkway past Nighthawk, a phone came out of someone's pocket on the coaster and almost hit a guy who was sitting on the planter.
We wanted to ride windseeker and fury but everything closed because of lightning...we waited an hour and managed one intimidator ride before it all closed again so we just left. Hopefully I'll get back there this year to ride those.
