I decided to venture out to the park today, this time I decided to go from opening to close. I am not going to go into all the details, cause most of you know the basics. The park was fairly crowded, but spent a lot of the day in the water park. We rode hurler, drop zone, cyclone, intimidator, afterburn, and thunder road. Everything else was just to crowded. Unfortunately, they had to close down the kiddie pool area and the older wave pool, due to "water contamination" (kid pooed in the pool i guess). Now the whole point in the trip today was to get a night ride on intimidator, and let me tell you IT WAS FANTASTIC. We got 3 night rides (well one wasnt fully dark but 2 were). The first we sat in row 2 and it was just freakin great, so we had to go back for more, this time in ROW 1. This was the FIRST and ONLY time I rode the coaster with NO 1st trim, it was great. The turnaround seemed a little faster, surprisingly not to much but I wasnt expecting it so I didnt really pay to much attention. I can tell you though the front at night was the BEST. Unfortunately after those 2 rides, the park was closed so didnt get to go again, but now the ride count is up to 73 I cant wait for intimidator ERT!
