I headed down to Georgia to SIx Flags this past Saturday 10/6/12 for a couple of days to get my season pass made for next year and see what this park had to offer. We arrived int he park around 3pm and found ourselves in line for Georgia Scorcher first. The first thing to note about six flags is they use lockers on certain rides you must put your items int he lockers, which you must pay for, some you can put at the station... We waited over an hr for Georgia Scorcher. It wasn't a bad ride at all but I don't think I would wait as long as I did for it again.. The lines on Saturday were HORRIBLE we waited over an hr for every ride, even 2 hrs for some so we didn't get to ride all the coasters that evening. Dare Devil Dive was a great ride, Batman wasn't to bad, and Superman Ultimate Flight was great (waited FOREVER). Sunday was not as bad but to avoid any huge lines we got the fast pass, which I have no regrets doing because we got a discount with season pass and 5% off with my discover card, well worth it. We were able to hit all the coasters in the park more than once (except Ninja because it was to rough to ride again). The good thing about the fast pass was while we were waiting I could take pictures and make videos and not have to be rushed to do everything I wanted to do! We even hit the monster mansion and Acrophobia. Acrophobia was the most UNCOMFORTABLE ride ever. I did like the tilt at the top, but that's about it. I wouldn't ride it again. I don't really care for drop rides anyway because they are not that thrilling to me... I guess lex luthor might be though... Anyways overall I liked the park, it was clean and had a lot of trees and very nice. The park was also doing fright fest, which to my surprise was just horrible. There were no fog machines, hardly any themeing, no "scaracters" and the "haunted attractions" cost extra. Of course Sunday night I wanted to try something different so I paid $10 to ride the "terror train". It was a waste of money and time. I really thought six flags haunt would be good... I had a really good time at the park and will definately go back next year and I look forward to going to some other six flag parks next year to see how they compare to each other.
