Yes it is that time once again for the trek down to Florida for my birthday that I have done since Moses parted the Red Sea. But this years trek was abit different since it was about two weeks after my birthday. I was invited to hang out with some friends for a week at Disneyworld and took them up on their offer. I had toyed with the idea of doing another Back to Back HHN run as I did last year but decided against it. So I headed down afew days earlier for HHN, Howl-O-Scream at Busch, and some theme park hopping before the gang got in.

First stop was Halloween Horror Nights AKA a Real Park Halloween Event

Nice pics so far. As you know I'm not into the whole Halloween thing, but I can see how much they put into this every year and they do a first rate job it seems.

wes...its not a "halloween" thing. This year is like the first I can remember to have something tied to halloween (one of the houses). There is no devil worshiping or gay marriages so you and all your friends can come on down and enjoy yourself...well there is some neck slashing and bone crushing...

I'm not saying Halloween is evil, or of the devil or any of that.

I just don't care for modern horror movies, I don't like blood and gore and the likes. I'm not putting down anyone who does, I'm just saying it's not my thing.

I used to love going to the old haunted houses, but now it's "CAMPGROND MASACRE!!!1!!11!!" instead of just the haunted house put on by the VFD.

Unviersal's event is called "Bloody Mary" this year.

I decided to hit Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Africa this year. I did the Funeral Tour for the first time since it was a Friday night. I will say that I enjoyed the tour but was nothing compared to the RIP Tour.

Going to stray abit with this installment of my Oct trek. I spent afew hours at Islands of Adventure the Friday (Waiting on SAW V) and spent afew hours at Seaworld Saturday (Waiting on the rest to show up). Since I have a pass to both parks it was an easy choice to kill some time. I really did not ride much at all at these two parks. Not really into the power riding that I use to do. Just enjoyed the walk around the parks. After this will be the the Disney Resort Parks (All the parks and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween)

Next up will be Epcot Center in the Mouse World Part of the Trek. I was invited to hang out with some real awsome friends of mine for six days at Mouse World Resort. I decided to take them up on the offer and move my trek to later in the month of October. So I will break these up in parks instead of days so this does not last till oct 2009.

Yes it is once again for another chapter in the longest ongoing trip report of 2008. So the next park is Disney's Studios. I will say that taking advantage of the Magical Hours is a plus for staying onsite. We hit this the first night after a long day at Epcot so it was disney from 9am to midnight on the first full day at Disney World Resort. I will say that I am not as young as I use to be after been rolling non stop in Orlando for a few days straight. But it just seem to just slow me down a step or two or that is the story I am sticking to.
