We've all heard of the man who'd steal from the rich and give to the poor, the outlawed pro-archer who'd disguise himself, enter Nottingham sports competitions and win every time. But do you know about his life before he came into fame? And why is sidekick Little John called just that? These answers and more await in this 2 hours and 20 minutes epic adventure.
When I first found out Russell Crowe would play the famed hero I was less than pleased. But after adjusting to the fact once the story was underway, I soon forgot my original disappointment. Mr. Crowe did an awesome job as did Cate Blanchett as his love interest, Lady Marion. They respected and fell in love with each other before any sex happened, totally different from what we get from most stories today.
