I'm not a fan of some Vekoma rides, but I do like the Boomerangs....I think they are fun.......What's the deal with the Giant boomerangs? I read on Wikipedia that they were a flop, but from looking at some of the POV's on Youtube, they look like a freaking blast.....I know the one that moved from Gurnee to Silverwood in Idaho is doing well.....I saw some comments on youtube about a software update that made the rides more stable and that Six Flags used an in-house software which was what caused the constant breakdowns.......Is this true? I know Vekoma's site still has them listed. I would LOVE to ride one

They are great rides, or at least the one at SFOG was.

I always heard it was missing the catch car on the second tower and would valley because of that.

I never heard an official reason for all the problems though. That's just word of mouth.

Not sure what I can believe from reading youtube comments, but based on what people are saying about Deja Vu that moved from Gurnee, IL to Idaho, it's running MUCH better at Silverwood.

I've ridden Deja Vu at SFMM, and while it really was a fantastic ride (which means a lot coming from someone who despises Vekoma), it was down for a majority of the day.
