"Toy Story 3," on ice this time, is a fun, family entertaining event.

The music, lights, costumes, choreography, and magic were all a part of the razzle dazzle, as only Disney knows how. Great show opening with all of Andy's most popular toys, including a special performance by his army men. Barbie and Ken were hilarious, and the show pretty much kept up with the same titled film. For this story Disney strayed away from the usual formate of original songs and used many popular hits from the 60s - 80s. I've never seen moving images projected onto the ice as much as I did with this show. There must have been 60 or more.

I was surprised to see children, as well as teens, dress up as Disney characters that were a part of this story as well as others. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy caught everyone up with a recap of the story during the opening of the second half, and lead us right into the continuation. The entire runtime, including a 15 intermission, is two hours.

If you missed it in Charlotte, the cast will be taking their show on to Atlanta next, which isn't too far to stray away from the Queen City. Has anyone else seen the ice or picture show?
