Glad you had a good time Rick.

I would suggest Riveredge RV park next time, lol. We stayed there back in the summer with some family in their RV and got a spot right on the "river". It's very shaded (in summer) and nice and the bathroom facilities are pretty good for an RV park. Better yet, the staff was VERY nice and helpful. Be sure to check em out next time.

Thanks Josh! We only know of it from driving past it over the summer and it caught my wife's eye. Our trailer life directory rates it the same as the KOA (an average of 8.5 stars out of 10) but customer service is still #1 in my book. Your suggestion is really helpful. We travel quite a bit (about 8,000 miles a year in the RV) and appreciate suggestions.

I'm still on my 6 month trial membership with ACE but we'll be getting a family membership after Christmas. We really like ACE and what they do. It's not all about us, but rather it's more about preserving coasters and helping others. Maybe one of the ten people who read my travel blog may decide to join ACE some day.

That would be my plan if my wife wasn't 'setting a budget' for me. I plan on being at a few, though. After a year or two I expect to get her on my side (and then I can take the big summer cross-country park run!).
