Well I am the most excited person today. I reserved the hotel room for our trip to CP and KI today . Going to be at CP the 7-10th of August and 10th-13th for KI .

Have fun. I did that exact trip about 2 months ago except it was KI first and CP 2nd.

Thanks . Hopefully the weather and everything is nice for us. But I planned 2 days at each park so we wouldn't feel too rushed to get everything done.

It was great weather when I went. Except the first day at Cedar Point where it was over 100F. If it's that hot when you go, expect Top Thrill Dragster to have difficulties. It shut down every 30 min for about 20 min because of the heat. The next day was much cooler and it had no problems at all. My suggestion is wait the extra 30-45 min for front row on Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force, it is well worth it.

Cedar Point doesnt have that system. That is Kings Island unless I missed something and they got it too.

Thanks for the advice. I would love all the advice I can get and people on here seem so much nicer and willing to give it to you then people on other sites. Over at KDfansite people treat you like you're stupid if you ask advice for your first time going to a new park. Maybe I should open a new thread to discuss the best way to get the most out of CP and KI or there is probably one already lol.

Haha you did your trip the opposite lol. I hope you had a great time. Speaking of Vortex though I agree with some of the post up here. I absolutely hated that ride. It was so painful and I only rode it once in the 2 days I was there.
