WIll comment that I had a very bad taste in my mouth from my latest and last trip to HRP this past monday night. Not sure what to think when a park closes down and forgets to tell the paying people in the park that they are closed. Had a long line at Guest Relations when I left after trying to enjoy a mere 1.5 hours in the park till they closed.

I hope things work out well for the rest of the year for the park.

I was there yesterday and there must have been some confusion because they told us 10:00 for the fireworks, and they did them at 9:30 (while we were in Nights in white satin).

Overall the park is nice, but I was disappointed at the lack of rides and Zep really didn't blow me away. It's fun sure, but nothing that amazing. In some ways fast lane was a better ride. Did I just say a Vekoma was possibly better than a B&M? The pre-ride show on Zep is way too long as well. I wish there was an option to skip it.

More later in my report.

RollerNut wrote:My thought is the name of the park itself is lame, almost as much as The Park at MOA. They could have atleast been creative and came up with something like Hard Rock's Rock N Roll Parasdise. Not to mention some of the major rides are no more creative namewise than Paramount Parks, it shows that former Paramount Parks Management is working down there in some departments.

Uh. If they named it anything other than Hard Rock Park, they'd ruin their brand recognition. That's what it is. That's why they named it that way.

I still can't believe after 'growing up' and having a kid you're still this clueless on how the world works.

Well, I don't know the license agreement. I do know how the world works. Make Money, spend money, make more money, spend more money! :P Why spend 50 dollars when my opinion has already been formed.

So, you are not honoring you siggy? Bad Nut, Bad Nut!!!!

Anyways, you can't expect Hard Rock to be Disney out of the box. It will take some time but I bet if you lived in Myrtle Beach you'd have a season pass.

Opinions are like hangnails, everyone gets them then you just have cut it off and get back to reality.

I could give Carowinds my season pass money, and milkshakes, and Dippin Dots money for the season but I don't think accept donations. Lets just leave it at this, better where I am than where I could be for being someplace I ain't supposed to be until the century turns 11.

Final Thoughts: You don't appreciate what you have or can do until it is taken away from you. Life is like a fair, the prices are absurd. You don't have to do anything wrong for things to do wrong.
