Everything else goes here, including discussion of parks outside of Carowinds and any off-topic discussion

I refuse to ride in anything I cannot fit in. At Carowinds that applies to Goldrusher and anything smaller. At 6'5" and mostly legs fitting in anything can be a challenge. The same thing goes for cars and I am currently looking for a new car also.

Gravity Max is one at the top of my list to sought after coasters. I just cant refuse any coaster my coaster gene is to strong in my DNA...Carnival rides, however, takes some pushing for me to hop on but I'll still do them from time to time.

It's a matter of principle... for me that is. I loathe people whom believe that the consumer is so gullible and complacent that they'd accept anything at face value. Here, I'll take a stab at what I mean with the attractions listed.

Coast Rider - What were they thinking? Is this a pissing contest of some sort? Was it to mock the traveling wild mouse model at Disney's Cheapskate Adventure? To take a swipe at Legoland California by installing an exact copy of their signature ride even though KBF is about an hours' drive away? The one finger salute to Adventure City perhaps? Why is it even here!?

Mulholland Madness; Primeval Whirl - These "temporary" installations have long overstayed their welcome. If I wanted coasters with a cheap & tacky carnival look I'd pay a visit to my local county/state fair.

Colossus; Cyclone - Kinda irrelevant now what with both of them being undergoing renovations but... c'est la vie! Using the previous track section as part of the structure for the rerouted course is quite the penny-pinching decision. Certainly relieved that they're being given the boot.

Space Mountain - The fiftieth anniversary of Disneyland was supposed to be something profound... extraordinary. What did we get? A carbon copy replacement of a quarter century old roller coaster. For crying out loud Maverick is more suited and "futuristic" for Tomorrowland. If it wasn't for Matt Ouimet the golden celebration would've been a complete joke.

Medusa;Scream! - Did you really need to ask? They're situated in parking lots where the paint markings are still visible. They should be dismantled & shipped off to destinations where they'd be more appreciated instead of being just a number.

Heck with SFMM... You just need to be riding the Colossus at Thorpe Park... great fun!

I did not like Colossus at Thorpe Park at all. I thought it was really rough. I was really looking forward to riding it too so that was very disappointing. The whole park was kind of underwhelming actually, though I liked The Swarm and Nemesis Inferno a lot. They've got a long way to go before that place can even be talked about in the same breath as Alton Towers.

The ACE trip is probably a great way to get to a lot of those more difficult to reach parks. I don't know that I will ever go on a trip like that because I can't stand the thought of going overseas and only visiting amusement parks, but I can see how it would be fun.

I had quite an adventure getting to Alton from London using a combination of high speed rail, regional rail, and bus. It all worked out surprisingly well.
