I will so totally laugh my butt off if they bulldoze Mean Streak and move Rip Cord to part of the Mean Streak site. It would be awesome if they could face Rip Cord to where it swings out over Lake Erie. Probably not possible...

Mean Streak and really any of the park's boundaries are too far in to do that.

And they aren't bulldozing it, but I almost guarantee I'll be back at CP for 2018.

I honestly think this is just a cost-saving move for KD. I don't think I305 produced the attendance boom they were hoping for. I think Hurler is not a fan favorite and always had no line so they can get away with closing it for a year and retracking it in-house. This also saves in labor since they don't need to employee people to run and maintain the ride all year long.
But hey, I've been wrong before.

Canada's Wonderland's flat collection should be illegal. Seriously, they're one Screamin' Swing away from taking over the world: https://www.canadaswonderland.com/what- ... oka-plunge

For thrill-seekers that prefer to stay dry, Canada’s Wonderland will be adding to its arsenal of world-class thrill rides with Soaring Timbers. This unique ride experience will send guests spiraling through the sky on two massive rotating gondolas that swing riders through sweeping arcs while rotating 360 degrees.

^Looks similar to the S&S Sky Swatter, I think it is another Mondial creation. Isn't CW the most attended park in the chain?

Knott's has the highest attendance but Wonderland is the most visited seasonal park. Soaring Timbers is a Mondial Inferno.

For real tho I do feel some type of way about their flat ride collection as well. CW always gets all the wacky high thrill flats and the US gets the meh types lol. I mean I would love to see a Jump2 at Carowinds its been years now since the only model have been built. I'm pretty sure they may have worked out all the issues with it since the main issue with is DT. Klockwerks, NIght Mares, Top Scan, and a Top Spin, I want it all lol. At least Carwoinds is getting a Top Scan.

It's nothing really like a sky swatter. It's a single arm rotating with a separate rotating arm holding the gondolas as the gondolas rotate. It rotates on three different Axis.

Muskoka Plunge, a 60 ft. (18 m) tall waterslide complex featuring four speed slides, will kick-off the summer fun in Splash Works. Riders will feel the adrenaline rush when they step into an enclosed launch chamber and suddenly plummet into a high-speed free fall through S-curves and 360° loops at speeds of approximately 40 km/h.

Additional seating with shaded areas, plus private cabanas offer both relaxation and comfort for families seeking summertime fun!

The new addition to the park will also allow for a new entrance to Funnel of Fear making navigation of the waterpark easier for everyone.

God, that person is an idiot. I get being upset and all but to hurl insults towards the park because they aren't doing what YOU want them to do. And besides, I feel they are really looking into this more than what it really is.
