Thanks Arby! I tried to delete it but it wouldn't. And that was after I edited which caused a new post all together.

Is there any chance that Mean Streak uses topper track? I know all of the conversions so far have been steel, and there's probably good reason for that from a structural standpoint, but I've been wondering if eventually someone will convince them to do a topper track conversion so they can still market it as a wooden coaster.

Your point? They demolished 3660 feet of that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that eventually happen. I know Holiday World taked to RMC about the possibility so I could only assume it's offered.

Not true. Colossus was demolished by half. And the structure left to work with was not nearly as massive as Mean Streak or Giant.

I mean, go ahead and continue to try and prove your point. I'll stick with information that came from people that work at Cedar Point and RMC.

Didn't RMC say they didn't have time to topper track unless it was built new? Or were they just refering to wood coaster maintenance.

Eddie, I never was trying to prove a point. I posted an opinion and you got offended, to make things funnier my opinion is based off nothing. Even worse is the fact that my original post about a pile of rubble was made in scarasm.

I guess I will have to use the emoji for that more often.

However the point became that fan forums run mainly on speculation so in the words of the Joker in The Dark Knight "Why so serious."

I am happy to note that I did not use the edit button on the post.

Saying mean streak is getting torn down int an opinion. You may have been joking, but thats not an opinion. And it didn't offend me.

What was offensive was, after I made a comment, you were purposefully insulting and said I was only serving to be self important. That's what was offensive. Again, thinking you're the smartest person in the room and expecting everyone to believe it is doing yourself a disservice.

You were being insulting and know it. And you have a reputation of complaining to the mods when you've felt insulted in the past.

It was an opinion, I even put laughing emojis in the post. I know I ain't the smartest person on the boards and I don't pretend to be, everyone here knows I ain't. A good number of my post are questions to others you know more than me.

I will admit to purposely insulting however that said, I have not went as far as some of your insults to me have.

So why are you allowed to but you don't want anyone to do it to you?

I've refrained from calling you a name or trying to purposefully be insulting because I was asked to as a favor and Jonathan asked all of us, but you continue to be antagonistic after having a reputation for crying behind the scenes. You're a hypocrite.

Not that it matters, because at this point it feels like you're disagreeing just to disagree. I'll wait till the park announces before I get too self important tho.

If they use topper track, they could easily extend the lift hill by another 40' in height and steepen the drop significantly. That would give them several world records for a wooden coaster than they can't get as a steel coaster:

- Tallest wooden coaster in the world
- Steepest wooden coaster drop in the world
- Fastest wooden coaster in the world (possibly)
- Longest drop on a wooden coaster in the world
- World's first hyper woodie (201' high)

First? boy, Son of Beast was bad, but did it shake the memory loose too, Jarsh? ;-) :-P

I could see topper track as a possibility. But I wonder how much of the original wood is not in good enough condition and will have to be torn out? Judging by the markings, surveys have already been conducted (possibly even as far back as early last year) and they already know what will or will not be torn out. I just hope that it will still retain a lot of it's shape and structure. To see all of that wood (no joke intended) is a wonderful sight to behold. I'd hate to see a lot of the structure go away, but it's bound to happen.

If you have ridden it recently, you would know the answer: It has 5,427 feet of bad wood.

I know what you really meant but had to share the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that.
