HA HA roller, for I think you you just made history! For ONCE I can agree with you on that one. It does seem rather "delicate" acting!

Actually, that price isn't far off from the group rate we were given. The meal and assorted other things were added into the cost of it.

I had been wanting to go to HRP since I heard it was open, finally got to go July 4th. I have to say I was completely let down by the whole experience. For the money, I'd have rather bought $100 worth of beer and sat at home. The only thing even remotely amusing at this amusement park was Led Zeppelin - The Ride. Rode it twice, once when we got there and once before leaving. It's a good coaster and gives a good ride, the on-board music added to the experience but as I'm not a big LZ fan, I could've done with another song choice instead of "Whole Lotta Love". It took a grand total of 15 minutes to get around the entire park. the Eagles coaster was no more thrilling to me than the goldrusher at Carowinds and the MaxRPM coaster wasn't even open that day.

We enjoyed the stunt show more than everything else that day, but I'm still confused as to why there are 4 Hard Rock bears that do little more than bounce around and pose for pictures. All in all we stayed for about 2-3 hours, saw everything twice, had time to eat and shop, then leave. I was thoroughly disappointed and won't be back except to ride LZ again, but it's hard to swallow a $50 ticket for one ride.

Just my thoughts...

It is a nice start to the park, but I kinda agree with you. Led Zep was a cool coaster, just seemed very jerky to me. Could have been a smoother ride. Eagles isn't more than a mine-train type ride. Maximum is cool with the lift, very different. Pretty cool though.
The thing I thought was cool was their use of space. The farris-wheel lift on Maximum, the 2 hills on Eagles that were next to each other and the track inter twined, this kind of stuff saves on space on what may be a small piece of land overall.
Did you get a chance to see the light show at night?? That is a pretty cool presentation.

Originally wasn't the Eagles coaster supposed to be called "Midnight Rider" and have a haunted sawmill theme? What happened with that?

It seems all they ended up doing was throwing the ride down in a dirt lot.

I guess they figured that by adding a name of a band it would make the ride popular??
