I went to Dollywood this past Monday on the way back from Holiwood Nights. You can see the blue B&M track in a clearing as you crest the lift hill on Thunderhead. Yes, it appears to be wider than the typical B&M track.
BTW, Thunderhead is in need of some TLC. The trains vibrate something terrible, almost to the point of pain. Had to stick with the front seat where it wasn't so bad.
Also, I am not sure when Dollywood did this (haven't been since Mystery Mine opened), but I love the fact that you can now connect to TN Tornado from Mystery Mine. Saves about 20 minutes of walking.
This was a Monday and the park was crowded but the lines were really short for the coasters. Mystery Mine was a walk-on and Thunderhead was a 2 train wait for the front. Many seats were empty in fact. The longest wait was for TN Tornado about 10 minutes, due to 1 train operation. My favorite Arrow coaster.
