Anyone got any phone suggestions? I'm thinking about either going with the Galaxy Note Edge, or the Droid Turbo. I have Verizon edge and my current phone is $20 a month, and I would pay the same for the Droid Turbo, but I wouldn't mind paying a extra $10 for the Note Edge. I currently have a iPhone, so I am clueless when it comes to android.

KD's Hurler was definitely rougher than ours earlier this year. On the first turn it jerked me to my side and I had a headache and stomachache for the rest of the day. Only coaster that's ever happened on. Still not as bad as Shockwave though, IMO.

Not sure about that, I barely notice it on our Hurler. Has anyone here had a good experience on Grizzly? I don't mean to paint KD as a bad park but all of their woodies suck. Not to mention their horrid toll booth and gate.

Grizzly might be my favorite ride at Kings Dominion. It's in my top 30 or so woodies (out of nearly 100 ridden). I've never had a bad experience on it and I know there are at least a couple other people on here who would agree. In fact I'd submit it's the best woodie in the chain other than the 3 GCIs. Yes I even like it better than Shivering Timbers. Never been on Ghostrider, though.

I guess it depends where you sit, weather, num of riders, etc. but I have to say that is probably my #2 worst coaster. Not to mention that its like KD is trying to forget about it. You have to walk through the Dinos alive shop to get to it.

What don't you like about it? The buttery smoothness? The amazing airtime? The constant short lines?

I just finished up 8 night rides in a row about an hour ago, and it's nothing short of incredible. It's my favorite ride in Virginia (besting Apollo's Chariot and I-305) and my favorite woodie in the Cedar Fair chain, even better than Renegade and Prowler.

EDIT- On the subject of the Hurlers, KD's first turn is absurdly rough while the rest of the ride isn't as bad, but nothing spectacular obviously. The one at Carowinds has the really smooth first turn, and then a crappy 2nd half of the ride. If you could combine the two, you could almost get one halfway decent coaster. I say tear em both down.

I literally just got back to Greensboro from KD within the last hour. We rode Grizzly 10 times, far more than any other coaster in the park. At one point, we rode it 8 times within 45 minutes, including watching the fireworks while on the ride. That coaster was riding beautifully. Truly incredible that this is a 'in-house' built ride.
Jarvis said it best... DAT TUNNEL!!!!

Speaking of Hurler from a few posts back, if anybody things Hurler is a worthless coaster, take a trip to Kentucky Kingdom. Thunder Run has a similar layout to Hurler (2 different manufacturers) and all I can say is WOW! No trims on that coaster and the airtime was incredible. I'll be going back to KK just to ride Thunder Run some more.

On to the Miss USA pageant. My faith in pageants has been restored :sarcasm: Check out this link and scroll down to the topic 'Miss Rhode Island and Miss Nevada Bombed the Q&A.'

Miss Nevada was asked how she would improve race relations in the country, and had this to say: "Get more racist groups together and be able to be with each other in a non...we need to be more accepting of each other."
