^Waterparks are disgusting, my biggest problem with waterpark/amusement park parks are all the half naked people running around the amusement park in their swim suits. When I worked at Carowinds I got tired of arguing with women about whether or not they could ride with out a shirt.

Has anyone here visited Codescape in Charlotte (http://codescapegame.com)? My family visited it today, and it's really awesome! We did the "Shipwrecked" experience, and did not successfully complete it. Apparently only about 25% of groups are able to complete it. The puzzles are very challenging. You get three hints along the way, with an hour to finish.
From their website: "We’ve taken the escape room concept to a whole new level… Our design team has worked on entertainment projects such as ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ and ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ at Universal Orlando. We’ve applied our skills to create highly immersive environments with captivating scenery, special effects, soundscapes, storylines and multi-sensory puzzles. So go on an adventure… Be the Hero!"
It was a very impressive theme, story, and challenge. Great for team building and a fun time! Here are some pictures (sorry, but I didn't take any pictures inside of the scenario to be polite):

The location is near downtown Charlotte, and it is sort of hidden on the second floor of a building. It just recently opened, and was very nice. I look forward to going back to try the other experience(s). Highly recommend it!

There are numerous (at least half a dozen) escape games in Charlotte and many all over the country. They have gained popularity in recent years and there are even 'escape game enthusiasts' like us coaster enthusiasts who travel around the country to do different ones.

We haven't tried any yet but it is at the top of our list but have heard good things about all the ones around Charlotte.

Meet the legendary ride maker that invented the modern theme park

"The modern theme park landscape of roller coasters, dark rides and water rides would not be possible without the constant innovation and reinvention of Arrow Development.

Through a series of tremendous successes and dramatic failures, Arrow created an impressive collection of world’s first and record-setting rides over a half century despite a crippling string of bankruptcies and ownership changes.

Without Arrow, there would be no log rides, mine trains, dark rides, looping coasters, suspended coasters, hyper coasters, fourth-dimension coasters and, most importantly, no Disneyland..."

Dang. Two great people die in less than a week. David Bowie on Sunday. Today Alan Rickman. Both were the age of 69. Both died from cancer. I literally grew up with these two people and it honestly really upsets me.

So I'm planning on visiting Six Flags Great Adventure for the first time this year in June. (Most likely Friday, June 10)

I've been looking at the Flash Pass and I was wondering how it even works and if it's even worth buying. Advice?

I'm against flash passes in general, so I would say "no" no matter what. But I also have been to SFGAdv several times, and though some days the lines could get pretty long, I've never had to worry about not finishing in time. If you stay a whole day you'll have enough time to ride everything once and then re-ride some things.

^Thanks. The prices alone just about gave me a heart attack and I still really have no idea how they work even after reading about it on the park's website.
