I'm doing a nail art challenge during the month of January and today's theme was to be inspired by the name of a nail polish color. The blue is called "Teal Steel"

Great job on the nails! Love it!

Six Flags Flash Passes are usually not worth it although the only park I bought them at was SFMM. Even with the Flash Pass and only 1/2 a day to spend at the park, we only got half of the coasters and I won't admit what we paid for two of us. :(

I don't know if the other parks do it the same, but picture Intimidator. If it were at SFMM, they would only be running two trains. Then their operations would be super slow. To top it off, the Flash Pass would merge with the regular line at the last turn in the queue line just past the 'tunnel' rather than taking you right up to the station.

How it actually worked in execution, we would 'reserve' a time on the electronic device that was 15 - 30 minutes later. Then we would get in line and wait another 15 - 30 minutes to get to the station. The platinum fast pass would still end up making us wait an hour for some rides - complete waste of money due to poor execution.

It depends on when you go. My first trip the park was not busy but there was no more than one train in everything and I missed a bunch of credits. The last time I went there were more employees than customers and they had 1-2 trains in everything and I had a blast. That was mid week in December.

I've used flash pass at SF parks before when I know there gonna be busy. It was great at SFoT. But SFMM is still
A poorly run park even after two regime changes. I don't get why that and Great America, the two parks near the two largest populated cities in the country, can't get it together.

Yeah, that's the same time that I went. Since my wife is a teacher, we don't have a choice and have to take time off when schools are out.

On a related note, we also bought fast passes at Knotts, which was packed more than SCarowinds on a Saturday night and still had no issue getting all of the credits in under two hours.

I had no plans to even go to SFMM during that trip knowing their history of operations but my daughter asked so we squeezed it into the schedule.

If they'd put just a bit of money in to make SFMM look better and run better, it could be an amazing park. If they re-did their front gate, painted everything, landscaped, and focused on better food and entertainment (you know, everything Carowinds has done recently, they'd be in great shape to add a Justice League dark ride, a few new flats, and it'd be just fine. What little Brit they have done (especially the DC area) looks very nice, but out of place with the rest of the park.

Anyone have any opinions on the Dodge Dart? I'm looking at getting a used one for a first car. http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/def ... d=12705675

While i'm on the subject of cars, does anyone have any dashcams under $300 they could recommend? I'm including the price of a dashcam in the price of my car.

Yeah but I was thinking he's under 18, and if so, he's highly likely to lose his license the first time an officer sees him operating a motor vehicle and an electronic device of any kind. Since that's illegal in NC and SC.
