Edwardo wrote:They actually haven't been blaming Orlando. Every time SW Parks talks about a decline, they mention the SoCal and San Antonio parks. Orlando isn't the problem.

Actually, now they are blaming Orlando...

"Almost as soon as SeaWorld Entertainment's decision to stop breeding orcas boosted its long-suffering stock price, other problems, including a drop in Orlando tourism, have canceled out those gains.

"Manby cited a "Florida problem" that includes a general downturn in tourism in Orlando. Experts blame several factors such as relatively late openings for theme parks this summer, the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in June and the troubled Brazilian economy.

SeaWorld blamed Brazil for many of its woes. Brazilian attendance is down 40 percent, the company says. A shortfall from Latin America accounted for 60 percent of its visitation declines this year."

They are blaming a lack of Brazilian tourists with a down turn in that market now, as is Disnt, but that is very recent. Deer said Manby had kept doing that, which is not true.
