I would guess either a hyper or floorless since they already have a flying coaster.

But B&M track is on-site!

Now if track would start showing up at Carowinds, we would be in business!

I for one is very happy for them so all the nay sayers that say that park gets nothing really "cool" can shut the hell up!

Wonderland finally got that semi-floorless they have been dreaming about! Im sure this was already in works thanks to paramount... but all I have to say is HOLY CRAP!!!

That thing is freakin' awesome looking!

The trains are crazy too!

I think I read that it was in development for 18 months, so yeah Paramount started it. :)

lol at three trims in a row on the three big return hills. And what is up with those trains? That is probably the most pointless modification to a great train design that I have ever seen.

I really hope those aren't trims. I noticed that as well.

Yeah, those trains look pretty dumb. What is gained by staggering the seats?

It would be funny if they did that as a gag and when people got there next year, it had regular trains on it. One can only wish that were the case.

I can see maybe if they were floorless, but they don't seem to be.

The seats should (theoretically) enhance the rider's experience. It delves into spacial relationships and how the body interprets that space. The original hyper design had four seats across in a linear fashion. When you stack eight of these cars together, you have maybe three feet between the rider and the seat in front of them, save for the first row. By staggering the seats, it allows for what appears to be three or four more additional feet of space in the rider's direct line of sight. Additionally, instead of two of the four occupants having exterior seats, this allows for all four persons to have exterior seats.

So what does all of this mean? Think about a personal bubble. When someone gets in your personal bubble you feel cramped, closed in, etc. By configuring the seats this way it allows maximum amount of 'personal' space, which will heighten a person's senses simply because there is more around said person for the brain to interpret. Couple that with better views, massive hills, and crazy speed and it should make for a rather thrilling experience.

Road trip to Canada!

Wow, that thing looks like it will be a blast. Actually, it looks like the offspring of Silver Star and Goliath@SFOG if you look at some of those elements. Awesome news for CW.

Also, another note on the trains, if you think about it, this will also enhance the ride experience itself, as there is a much larger distance between the front of the train and the back, meaning that the experience SHOULD vary even more from what a standard train would (which should mean even MORE airtime for back passengers). And also, it will increase visibility, which is perhaps the biggest (and only real) compalint about some of the B&M coasters (though that is mostly associated with the inverts, but others to an extent as well). I'm extremely curious to see how these trains work out, and why specifically CW and B&M made them.

I'm not riding with you!

I'll ride with someone else, cause we know you'll break down somewhere in West Virginia!

And on the trains...they look just plain weird. But they should be fun to ride in. I just hope that the next B&M hyper bought doesn't have those things.

I've been imagining that thing running along side Carowinds. That's be a mighty fine sight.
