true we don't know what they consist of. but from the map on the site it looks alot like they are gearing the part towards 15 and under.. I know that in the future more will come.. We are still planning a visit this summer..

The same can be said about IOA when it first open (and kinda now also lol). I think the park is doing what makes sense realistically by not getting in major debt to open the park. I mean look at what happen to that wild wild west park!

Remember that Myrtle Beach is the #1 "Family" beach in America. Now, MB is one of the wildest beaches I have been to except for Palm Beach! So, HRP is geared towards families, but the CEO has already said that big things will arrive in the near future to cater to all ages and thrill levels...so more coasters, yeah!

Who came up with that garbage?

I'd call Virginia Beach a family beach way before Myrtle.

I guess by family they mean "lots of crap to spend your families money on".

One thing I know for sure. HRP will not be getting anything taller than 125' because of it's proximity to the airport. LZ was actually suppose to be a little taller according to the VP of Operations but had to be lowered for that reason.

Nevertheless, most of my favorite coasters are under 100ft anyway so that doesn't deduct the possibility of future thrills by any means. Just won't see any Space Shot or Drop towers unless they're in kiddie land.

Damn, I was hoping an addition one year would be "The Whipin' Post." Acrophobia needs a cousin.

WOW! 125ft is not alot to work with but some good rides can be built under that.

I thought Led was 150' (which I read was the height cap)? MB's airport IS right beside the park, ya know ;).

The Travel Channel is what voted Myrtle Beach the #1 family beach and the Travel Channel also voted Myrtle Beach the third best party beach in 2006? Not a good combination!

No No, The height cap in 150', which is how tall Zep is. So Acrophobia's cousin is still a possibility.

Honestly, as far as Height goes, that gives them a restriction, which often calls for ingenuity on how to make something really fun with the given restrictions, which, as we've seen in the past, can really be a good thing for a park. The only thing is they won't really be able to dig down and sink rides into the ground like Nemesis or Oblivion.
