Has anyone been inside the renovated mall across from Carowinds. If so, did you see the play area for the kids. It's like almost 4 stories high. Simply Amazing! If you have not seen it, go see it.

Have not been there, but I'm glad they finally did something with that place. It was just kind of wasting away before.

I was quite impressed with the exterior when I went to Carowinds on opening weekend, and am very glad to see something positive done with the property. It couldn't have helped Carowinds any to have the previous dead mall sitting there on it's entrance road.

One of my visits I'll pop inside and check it out. I've seen the interior on a few TV news reports and it looked nice. Hopefully they'll have a restaurant or two that will provide some more options when eating outside the park.
