Is anyone else unable to access the main page of this website? I can go to any page on here (forum index, construction thread, etc.), but I cannot go the the main page, and I wasn't able to yesterday, either. It says "General Error" and other random stuff. Also, it said something different yesterday, but I don't remember what.

Yea, they posted an update on Facebook, its a problem with the site. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

Sorry guys. Horrible timing for all this to happen as I have been in New York since Thursday night. Posting from the bus home right now so when I get back tonight I will try to figure out what has been happening.

I would say there is a very good chance something could go wrong on Wednesday as I am anticipating record numbers of people trying to access this site simultaneously. If you want to make sure you stay updated follow the Twitter and/or become a fan of the Facebook page.

Yeah. This most recent 'event' was weird because it was only the front page, but the other pages worked.Also, on the page that would come up, it said to email you if the problem continued. But, I remembered reading that you said you'd be out of town, so I though, "Well, emailing him won't work ".

I talked to my host this morning and they assured me multiple times that the server problems are fixed and everything is fine now. I guess tomorrow will be the moment of truth...

One thing you can do on Twitter is set it to forward tweets to your cell phone as text messages. You can set it to forward tweets from everyone you are following, or just certain users.
