Going west this weekend. Plan on visiting Magic Mountain for the first time on Sunday. Any tips from anyone that's ever visited before?

I would recommend leaving the most popular rides like Tatsu, X2, and others for later on in the day/evening if you are staying all day because the park clears up later on in the day. I waited two and a half hours for Tatsu just to come back later in the day to see it a walk on. Also, X2 is much more fun at night with all of the flames and special effects. I did every ride (minus Superman because it was closed) in one day even with long waits for 3 or 4 roller coasters. Also, if the stunt show is still going on, it is really a great thing to watch during the middle of the day.

Drink a ton of water. It is hot. It can get crowded even on a weekday. Dont bring a bag for your stuff unless you have to. Magic Mountain has $1 one use lockers for about 8 of their rides. Sad they have those when they dont even have separate load and unload stations...Honestly if you can, I would make a trip out to Knott's Berry Farm. A much better park in my opinion.
