I'm usually lucky at theme parks, but at Kings Dominion I had to wait 2 and a half hours for Twisted Timbers. Surprisingly enough, that's the longest i've ever had to wait for a coaster.

I also remember when I was almost to the station- the ride op says over the intercom about how the ride is temporarily closed, due to the hydraulic restraints I presume. as many people left the line, They ran about 5 empty trains, and then they got many trains with people in them, and we finally got to ride!

4 hours for Fury on opening day, 2 of which were spent waiting on the weather to warm up so the ride could even open. Worth it though.

If you ever got to ride lightning rod before it was trimmed, lucky you.

I rode it multiple times last April (after it was trimmed- and waited no more than 10 minutes for it, odd.) and while it wasn't bad, the trims killed the speed by a lot.

I legitimately think the longest I've ever had to wait for a ride was Mystery Mine the first time my ex and I went to Dollywood, because it was school trip day and idiot kids kept dropping their cell phones and shutting down the ride. Three hours.

Did u ride it prior?

As for me I’ve waited about 2.5 hours. At this point though I rarely wait in a line more than an hour. I’ll either buy skip the line passes if some dirt or go when the park is dead.

If I could remember the exact time, I'd probably say Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom. But in more recent memory, I waited around two hours for Daredevil Dive at SFOG. Still missing some significant credits from that park, including Batman.

^^Same here, if there is more than a one hour wait, I either skip it and will try it some other time or buy flash passes/quick passes (assuming I'm at a park that I may not be back at anytime in the near future)

My longest ever wait in the past has probably been 2 hours, but I haven't found any reason to wait.

I even skipped Xcelerator when I was at Knotts. Granted, it was down part of the day I was there but when it did open it had at least a 90 minute wait.

Another Fury opening day person here, it was 5 hours for me. The full extent of Fury's line ended just past the airbrush place across from Chickies & Petes, and also went down and back on the maintenance road next to the final brake run. It was fun watching Cyclone cycle slooooowly in the morning cold with an empty train.

Lets hope the wait for Copperhead will not be 5 hours.

When has Carowinds even had lines that long?

Fury appears to have a pph of 1,470. A lot of you gave a 2-hour wait on opening day, once the weather warmed up. That'll put you at about 3,000 people deep.

CS has a pph of 1,200 pph. If we use the same 3,000 number, that'll put a wait at around 2.5 hours. At 4,000, you're looking at 3 1/3; 5,000 is just over 4 hours.

I think it'll ultimately come down to weather and when you arrive. If you're there when the park opens and head straight for CS, you'll probably wait no longer than 2 hours. If you wait until after lunch or early evening and the weather is great, you might have closer to 3 hours to wait.

I certainly don't ever expect a 4-hour wait if the ride is continually operating during that time. At some point, there's people that will walk up, see the wait, and go "NOPE!"
