Hey Max....how ironic that we were just talking about the Pavilion and it was on the front page of the MB Sun News today.

I can only hope the project keeps hitting snags until they shelve the idea all together. Like we discussed over the phone today...It's not the Pavilion that's the problem, it's the blighted areas directly south of the Hurricane coaster that you don't walk through alone at night. :o

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the full story!

Well now the Developer dropped out after being questioned. I wonder what would have happen of the plans had to go thru and became a bust!!

So, the developer dropped out, and they still plan to redevelop it? Well, if that Hard Rock Park is still in the works, then I think they could move the Hurricane to there. But does anyone know if that project is still in the works?

Aw man. That would've been so cool. I'd've gone to it, even if there was nothing there yet.

Yes, it is a very nice park and there is alot to do there. I also hope it never goes away but if it does then i would say go this year cause 2005 still might be it's final season.

I think the Pavilion should stay. I went in 2002, and I had a blast in the course of about 2 hours in the middle of summer. I liked the Catipiller the most.

I don't see them putting a "used" coaster in a brand new park.

I think the plan for the Pavilion, when and if it EVER comes to fruition, is to move it inland. The last place that I heard was over near the new ballpark at Broadway at the Beach.
